Under the Common Criteria Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA), Common Criteria Testing Laboratories are accredited to conduct IT security evaluations.

InfoGard Laboratories is accredited by the National Voluntary Lab Accredidation Program (NVLAP Lab Code 100432-0) to conduct Protection Profile (PP) and IT security evaluations for EAL 1-4 within the Common Criteria Evaluation Validation Scheme (CCEVS). In addition, high assurance evaluations, EAL 5-7 are conducted with the support of the National Security Agency (NSA).

CCEVS is the Validation Body, staffed by the NSA provides technical guidance to the testing laboratories, validates the IT security evaluation and interfaces with the other nation certification bodies under the MRA.

In accordance with NIAP and CCEVS, InfoGard performs comprehensive documentation analysis, functional testing and penetration testing of the IT security product to determine conformance to the security claims in the Security Target (ST).
