Why Evaluate

Laboratory approval and certification is required to sell your Personal Identity Verification (PIV) smart cards into the US Federal Government.

Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-12 mandates the use of approved credentials for federal employees and contractors for physical and logical access to federal facilities, a market encompassing millions of people. FIPS 201 programs at GSA and NIST provide the product approval and certification mechanisms.

PIV smart card must be certified through NPIVP by an accredited NPIVP laboratory.
